Alana Schwartz is known for producing rigorous, socially impactful work.

Over her 10+ year career in filmmaking, she has focused on non-fiction films that highlight structural issues in America, with past projects covering politics, national security, and environmental crises, including a decade at FRONTLINE and independent projects with Rolling Stone, Protozoa, TIME, and Greenpeace.

Alana is a daughter of bar owners, which she credits for her knack for chat and curiosity. She is on the committees of ATLFilmParty, ATL Indie Media, Video Consortium and a screening member of the CinemaEye Honors Awards.
